StreetPass Network seeks to connect Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS owners with one of the many StreetPass groups across the world. It also provides various informational resources for StreetPass groups and their members.
Although they vary in style, StreetPass groups generally facilitate regular meetups at the location referenced in their title so that Nintendo 3DS owners can fully enjoy StreetPass, a feature that lets the Nintendo 3DS exchange data automatically with other Nintendo 3DS systems within range. At many group events, use of the original Nintendo DS system’s Tag Mode is also welcome and supported.
StreetPass Network was created by Joshua Lynsen, who founded the first StreetPass group, StreetPass DC for Washington, D.C. Artwork for StreetPass Network was provided by Alex Satter of megapirateninjas.com. Other contributions are works of the noted creator.
